As a writer’s handbook, “Writing for You” not only explores the mechanics of creative writing. It also provides emotional support and camaraderie, giving you techniques to triumph over those periods of doubt in your artistic life.

When writing gets tough, that inner editor’s got you down, and you feel like giving up, the most helpful thing in the world is knowing that dips in confidence are normal, we all experience them, and they are in no way a statement of fact concerning your potential.

At over 75,000 words, “Writing for You book” was requested by the followers of the creative writing blog, www.crimsonleague.com.  It groups information from the blog in new and thought-provoking ways, expands upon the information to be found there, and includes links to other resources to help any writer, whether a beginner or a seasoned pro.

The book also contains personal examples of how one writer developed her writing process over the course of five novels and ten years, to warn, guide, and reassure aspiring writers as they walk their own path toward finishing a novel.

Personally, I have enjoyed reading the insight and advice that Victoria has shared on her blog.  This book will be a valuable tool for aspiring authors and those of us that are published because we all have some weak areas.

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

    • Let’s hope we bring each other a lot of luck. Working on a thank you post to put up at the end of the day too. I’m in that weird ‘what next’ zone.

      • That makes total sense! I’m in a weird place too. Left off fiction for months to put this release together. Yesterday I was able to go back to my fiction and start editing my novel from NaNoWriMo last year… It feels wonderful to be working on fiction again but a bit strange too. It feels new again somehow 🙂

      • I have my 4th book to edit, so that will probably be my target. Want to get back to some of my non-hype posting too.
