City Poem: Rodillen

Beautiful city
Sitting on the L’Dandrin
Welcoming and bright
Full of quiet quaint
In the wake of a gnomish home
The metal dome filled
With booming invention
And the only place of peace

Night will fall
And change the face
Revealing roofs of death
Designed to keep true rulers out
As they prowl the shadow streets
To bloat their hidden hordes
Welcome to Rodillen
The two-faced city of thieves

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.
