Day in the Nerdy Life

This should counter the dark one.ย  In response to We Drink Because We’re Poets poetry prompt: Day in the Life of a Nerd.

There was a young nerd with some dice
Who bought the whole set for a low price
Each die was unique
He’s mastered his technique
A fresh role-playing game would be nice

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

  2. Brings back memories of hour long bus rides in Los Angeles freeway traffic to and from school. For me, reality was always far better; I never fared well in role playing. (From a geometry perspective, I love those dice. ๐Ÿ™‚ )

  5. That touched my heart in ways that most poetry cannot achieve. ๐Ÿ™‚ My husband, step-daughter, and I are working on inventing a new RPG (a sci-fi/fantasy crossover deal)…perhaps that will be the fresh game you need…if you’re willing to wait a while, that is. ๐Ÿ˜‰
