Keeping the Prodigy of Rainbow Tower theme going, I’m doing the fun list of what Nyx needs to motivate her. Let’s see what she lists:
- Magic.
- Relaxing with a mug of ale.
- Finding new ways to punish guys that pinch her on the butt.
- Winning bar fights.
- Learning about her birth parents.
- Finding real friends.
- Making a family.
- Meeting magical creatures.
- Defeating the coming darkness.
- Chocolate.
- Griffin riding under the stars.
- Watching Luke get seasick.

There is a great scene in Prodigy of Rainbow Tower that stems from that kind of incident. It was done so well in the game between the real Nyx and Fritz that I had to add it in.

I think #3 might just be my favorite, and ironically “Melody”, has #5 on her list too!

She gets pretty creative with #3 at times. Though, she typically defaults to ‘blast guy through wall’ if she’s already in a bad mood.

Good to hear. She’s one of my favorite characters. Definitely has the widest range of emotions, which makes her a wee bit unpredictable.

I think I’m really going to love Nyx. She sounds like a total badass.

She is at most points. It’s funny that I started her as a cold badass, but she’s shown so much more as the story progressed. She’s becoming the ‘big sister’ of the other heroes, which kind of focuses her rage at times. I’m actually at the point where a love interest shows up and she’s falling into a flirting pattern that she keeps trying to break out of. It’s kind of cute.
