Vacuuming and dusting
Make sure things aren’t rusting
Clean the gutters
Wipe down the shutters
Use a toothbrush on the grout
Don’t let them see you pout
Elbow grease for those dishes
You need a genie with three wishes
The toilet scrubbing turns your nose
All four cars will get the hose
Morning has turned into night
You worked alone with all your might
Now you get to rest
Wait!
You missed a post

Cleaning. Bah, something I need to do, lol. Good humor poetry btw ^_^

Thanks. Have to make sure the place looks as clean as possible before the parents return from their vacation. Not easy to do with a 3-year-old ‘helping’.

So fun. But cleaning is not fun. ๐

Lol! I laughed so hard! I think this one is great Charles. And thank you, yet again, for making me smile! ๐

You’re welcome. I think I’m going to try to stick to fun, happy poems to make people laugh. At least until I get moody.

Did you know Charles..that I’m a domestic house cleaner between reading tarot, writing when I have time and my art.
I have 8 clients that I clean for every week!

I remember you mentioning it. I hope your days are nothing like the poem though. At least not the ending.

All of my clients are very appreciative of my work, I know I would be if I came home and someone had cleaned my house!

Good to hear. People should always be nice to those that clean their houses and handle their food.

Been there, done that–in my own house! ๐ Not any more, though, I live on a farm and it shows!

I tip my hat . . . glasses to you. I could never survive on a farm. I don’t think I have it in me.

I didn’t even add the cooking into that list.

I’m trying to figure out what to do about sharing the submissions emails. The contact form only lets you enter one. And you cleaned the toilet let someone else cook

We ordered in actually. Not sure about the submission emails. It can only go to one person initially, right? Do you want to have first check of the submissions and then pass them on?

That’s what I was thinking. At least in the beginning it shouldn’t be too overwhelming (crickets I’m the background)

I really have to figure out how you pull off doing all these things and not fall behind in any of them. Add in kids and I’m wondering if you sleep.

I might need that for this week. Got so much to do.

And there I go adding to the list

It seemed to be the week of me being in high demand. 3 people have requested help with writing a books, 2 editor offers, a fairy tale request (so exciting!), and the RCC up-grade. All of that hit me last week, so my head is still spinning a bit. Though that could be the cold too.

This is on top of my book writing, book marketing, reading, and trying to go through my WordPress reader occasionally. Might have to make weekends a non-WP reader time except for an hour before bed.

Really I did not intend to stress you. As you were Charles, as you were

It’s no problem. The editing stuff is the least stressful of things. I just need to figure out how to balance everything.

Feeling a bit like an untrained trapeze artist on a high wire is the life of a writer I suppose.

Untrained and with bound legs. I’ll probably get the fairy tale done today and then move on to some other projects before returning to the book tomorrow. With my parents back, there are a few more watchful eyes on the toddler.
