The sound of screams echoed everywhere
Even though I was alone
Their raspy voices tore at my ears
Causing them to drip onto my shoulders
The screams grew in rage and pain
Shrieking for escape from their prison
Deep within my cracking mind
The sound of screams echoed everywhere
Even though I was alone
Their raspy voices tore at my ears
Causing them to drip onto my shoulders
The screams grew in rage and pain
Shrieking for escape from their prison
Deep within my cracking mind
This:
“Their raspy voices tore at my ears
Causing them to drip onto my shoulders”
I am in love with this. π

That was one of the hardest lines to write in this poem. I had trouble making the second one come right.
