Triforce of Wisdom (Part 2 of 3 Poetry Set)

Wisdom

Essence of the sage

Balance to blind intelligence

Giving sight beyond the eyes and heart

The holders of wisdom are rarest of all forms

For false sages speak believing they hold the keys

But their words of thought are hollowed by a biased mind

The true wise-ones speak for all and hope to change the world

But for all their acts to help the world, they are too easy to encage

Pinned beneath the thumb of one who wants their influence for their own

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.
