Things I’ve Learned Today

  1. Wandering away for 5 hours of daylight means my Reader is going to be an epic trial to read through.  I’ll do my best.
  2. I really should have bought some back-up jewel cases. While I’m treating them like soap bubbles, other people are treating them like bowling balls.  Feels stupid to drop 20 bucks on another pack to switch out the one cracked one.  Maybe I’ll give it to one of my old friends who will be at Arcon.
  3. The toddler can swallow a chicken nugget whole and does so to take years off his father’s life.
  4. I really hate Matzoh.
  5. My stomach despises Matzoh.
  6. Prodigy of Rainbow Tower is looking at a May debut.  I’d say April, but my cover artist has been swamped with tattoo art jobs, which is his main source of income.  He said he has the preliminary sketch done and the rest should take a few weeks.  If it’s done by Arcon then that will be sweet.  Depending on the timing, I might just wait until I return from the convention to post it and do the major advertising dance again.  That way I don’t start it and then vanish for a few days.
  7. This week was not designed for me to get editing done or catch last Sunday’s episode of Shameless (US Version).
  8. I really, really miss pizza.
  9. Time flies when you’re having fun, but it freezes when you can’t figure out where the toddler disappeared to in the backyard.  (Answer: Curled up for a fake nap behind the stoop.)
