News & Up-dates

Beginning of a Hero Release

I woke up and scrambled to my laptop, which is harder than you think when you have slippers, a closed door, a baby gate, sneakers, and a few toys in the way.  My book is still in review, so it might be a mid-day release.  The paperback version will be ready either tomorrow or Thursday.  This is all if everything goes smoothly with the review, which really tells you that I need to stop jumping the gun here.  This maybe the 4th time I’ve declared a release date and something can still go oopsie.  Hopefully, my book is ready to roll by the time I finish breakfast, biking, and showering.  They said 12-24 hours for the Kindle version and 24-48 hours for the paperback.  I’m not sure if they take breaks.

Giveaways

I have added a Giveaway page that lists my monthly contests.  I have added a contest for Goodread ratings and reviews.  This will operate the same as the Amazon Review contest and 4 people can win a free copy of ‘Prodigy of Rainbow Tower’.  I have also put up a milestone countdown widget for the contests.

Blog Up-Dates

I’m going to continue my typical pattern of blogging.  So, today I will be posting the first part of my drama experiment ‘The Pen Name’.  My blogging has helped me gain many friends and supporters, so I refuse to ignore this.  It’s probably my biggest weapon in the battle of book selling.

Page Changes

I altered the format of my page menu since I now have the ability to make pull-down menus.  ‘My Style & Intent’ is now a tab under ‘Author Facts’ and ‘Authors Promoting Authors’ is now a tab under ‘Links’.  This makes everything a little neater.

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.
