Legends of Windemere: Allure of the Gypsies will be debuting on December 1st. So, there will be a blog tour throughout December. Ionia is helping me put this together, so a big thank you to her for showing me how to do this.
There will also be a cover reveal at one point, but this post is more about the blog tour. Here is what it will entail:
- You volunteer to be part of this and make a post on your blog with the information you will be sent. This is a full post and not a reblog.
- You will be given the day to make your post along with others within the volunteer group. This will make the news appear on multiple blogs for more than one day like the blog blitz I did before.
- I will make a nightly blog post linking to the day’s volunteers. This can help you get more traffic too.
The information that will be given will be the cover, which will also be sent to anyone wishing to do the cover reveal. You will also be sent the book blurb, the Goodreads link, possibly a few review quotes from the first two novels, and the Amazon link. If I forget the Amazon link then it can be taken off my first day post or from Amazon itself. Searches for books help their ranking, so I’m wondering about this one.
Important Note: Please only volunteer if you’re serious about helping. I will admit that about 1/3 of the volunteers I got for the Prodigy of Rainbow Tower blog blitz didn’t make their posts. We are trying for an optimal spread working off the volunteers, so it is very important that you post on your given day. As I said, I will be making a nightly blog post and will only include those that come through.
Other Events
- Interviews are coming back next Tuesday. Still deciding on who should be the first since I did all the main characters of Beginning of a Hero and Prodigy of Rainbow Tower. There are two though, but that might reveal a few spoilers. Interviews with major Allure characters will be reserved for last week in November.
- Second week in November will see a M-W-F post on the Community Storyboard from each of the Windemere novels. There will be no spoilers, but the scenes will be chosen to entice people to read the books.
- Near the end of November, Ionia is going to set up a Twubs Chat. This is an interview format using Twitter. People will be able to ask questions to all of the Legends of Windemere characters during this interview. I’ll be jumping characters for each question, so it’s going to be a lot of fun and a big challenge. We’ll reveal more when we figure this out.
There you have it. November is the month of Allure of the Gypsies hype. I’ll appreciate any help in getting volunteers for the blog tour and getting more people to read the first two books.
Finally, thank you to everyone who has reblogged my book posts and lent a hand.

I would be more than happy to help Charles! ^.^

It may be teensy weensy compared to all your other activity, but I’d be happy to make that marketing post on whatever day you feel would fit in best, and obviously mention your coming book at that time (and feature your cover if you wish). 🙂

Thanks. I’ll put you on the volunteer list.

Thanks. Saw you’re going to start reading Prodigy of Rainbow Tower soon. Hope you enjoy it. A lot darker and more action-packed than the first.

If it’s the one that appears whenever you make a comment on a blog then I can take it from that. I can send you the Cover Reveal info today and put you on the Blog Tour list if you’re interested.

Yep, cool.
And send away! 🙂 I’ve never been part of a blog tour before so you’d pretty much have to tell me EXACTLY what to do.

Great. This is actually two events. The Cover Reveal on November 25th is to take the information I’m sending in a few minutes and post it on that day. This is to kick off the pre-release hype week.
The Blog Tour is similar, but will have more information and you’ll be assigned a day in December to do your post. On November 30th or December 1st (USA time because I just realized you’re in Australia and I think you’re a day ahead of me), I’ll email all volunteers with the information files and a schedule telling them their day to post.

Cool. I can do that. And yes, I am a day ahead so I’ll remember to go off your time zone 🙂
