Happy National Wildlife Day!

The title says it all.  It’s National Wildlife Day, so here are some fun pictures about it.  Also, what is your favorite animal?  I’m always torn between tigers, wolves, and red pandas.  Depends on my mood.

    No wonder my loading scrren on Windows showed llamas! Because of this day! Makes sense now.

    We are doing terrible things to our wildlife. I don’t think many people realise that we are part of nature too, and it’s balanced. At least, it was until we picked it up.

    If we lose our wildlife, we lose us, too. In a literal way.

      Nature will outlive us in some form. Humans will only really destroy themselves. While most people know we are part of nature, our society doesn’t allow us to change much. We’re too busy surviving the horrific economic version of survival of the fittest and avoid homelessness/starvation. I don’t think a lot of people realize we treat our own species as bad as others.

    It’s a great day to celebrate. I’m going to choose the wolverine. He’s kind of an all terrain guy, and doesn’t take any crap.

    I like owls and bobcats. Not the biggest and baddest, more stealthy.
