Ask-A-Character: Baron Arthuru Kernaghan

Richter Belmont from Castlevania

Richter Belmont from Castlevania

This is a juicy interview opportunity.  Baron Arthuru Kernaghan is the big villain of Legends of Windemere who has finally been revealed.  Not much is known about him other than the gods fear him and he has been erased from history.  If he was to ever return to the rest of Windemere then everyone would remember him and all the evil deeds that he has done.

Still he has shown some benevolence and care toward some of his agents.  He can have a temper due to being cooped up for centuries.  In fact, he might be downright annoyed that he’s been designated a spectator to the great events of the world.  The problem of being a locked up immortal, I guess.

So, ask any questions that you can think of and enjoy getting to know this mysterious villain.  A nastier one shows up tomorrow.

Um, having witnessed your motivational technique with the Lich in Family of the Tri-Rune (in which you kept mentioning forgotten strength), I have to ask what you see as your greatest strength.

    • Baron- Interesting and complicated question. If one was to claim a greatest strength then they would border on egotism, which would lead to their downfall. I have been there before when I believed my ambition was the source of my power. That is why I am in the position that I find myself.

Maybe one could say my patience is my greatest strength since I have spent centuries playing this game. I prefer to be well-rounded and not choose one area over the other, but my ability to know that things will fall into place keeps me going. It has also allowed me to work toward eliminate most of my limitations and come to terms with the weaknesses that I cannot shed.

  2. I have to wonder how you can stand to be in the presence of the Lich. Do you have any reservations when dealing with him (or it)

    • Baron- I have dealt with fouler creatures than Tyler in terms of smell and temperament. To be honest, he is one of the few servants that I have no reservations working with. For all of his weaknesses and flaws, he is loyal to my cause. Whether it be out of fear or a remaining spark of humanity, he will do whatever I ask and go beyond his duties to prove his devotion.

Now if you are discussing the smell of decay, I should mention that I have spent my containment around undead and demons. In that time I have learned to filter out the more nauseating aromas.
