Today’s interview is with Isaiah and Kalam, who will play a major role in Allure of the Gypsies. They are brothers and Fireskin spellcasters, but that’s where their similarities end. Now, a Fireskin is a species of Windemere that are best described as Dragon-people. They have natural magic and resembles hulking, wingless dragons on two legs. They’re about 6-7 feet tall and covered in scales. I’ll go more into this in a later post because this is about the brothers and not their race, but feel free to ask them questions if you wish.
Isaiah is charged with watching over our heroes and is very mysterious. He is the caster who rescued Nyx from her burning village and delivered her to Rainbow Tower. It has also been revealed that he has a connection to Aedyn Karwyn, but he isn’t a priest. Beyond that, very little is known about him.
Kalam is more known even though it’s because he’s a feared vampire. Now, he became a vampire after finding a map to the Relic Staff in his brother’s desk. Believing Isaiah to be making a play for power, Kalam stole the map and went to get the staff. The vampire guarding it transformed him before she was destroyed. Kalam lives in a mountain lair near Haven and has spent a few centuries creating various undead and perfectly his necromancy. His dream is to defeat his older brother in combat, but he is very patient and wants the perfect moment for his victory. The chance appears in Allure of the Gypsies when his old student, The Lich, convinces him to help against our heroes. The chance to battle Isaiah is one of the few things that can blind Kalam to common sense.
So, ask your questions and get to know these major players of the upcoming fantasy novel Allure of the Gypsies, debuting December 1st.
