Kenshin Himura (How I feel)
I hear it
Clear as day
Though it be night
Yet still a day
And I digress
I hear a voice
Faint and lyrical
Switching tones
Male and female
Rarely the same
Instrumentals
Wafting through the air
The radio is off
And my iPhone sleeps
Pandora not turned on
I shift and fuss
The sound changing depth
My iPod in my pocket
Singing all this time
When did I put it there?
About Charles Yallowitz
Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.
Ha ha. I’ve done that before – and I share your memory. Mine is appalling! And now you need to charge it up as well…. π¦

This is a first for me. Especially since I use Pandora and my iPod is reserved for biking. Thing still has half a charge too.

How long was it in your pocket then? Hilarious. π

No idea. I think I grabbed it in the morning to move it, got distracted by the phone, and put it in my pocket while getting the telemarketer to leave me alone for good.

You should have just put the iPod to the phone and left it connected all day, that would have been effective! π

LOL must have been a very eerie experience at first! π

More annoying than eerie. Loud music turns up at times from cars or neighbors during the day. I was so busy trying to catch up on what I want to do this week.

I might as well take a sledgehammer to it and be done with the suspense.
