It is done! The editing of the books is done for now. That means a week of relaxing and other low key projects. First on the list-
The Restructuring . . . kind of wish I had a human sounding board for this one. It’s low key, but will be the equivalent of examining every individual thread of a tapestry. What can be merged? What can be dropped? What connects to what? It should be a fun project for the day.
Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.
Always nice to have something you can cross off your list

Very much so. Hopefully, I uploaded the right file to Amazon though. My brain is fried.

Thanks. Though, I probably should have tried to finish this morning so I could get enough sleep. Downside to pushing too hard.

Already starting another list! Take a well deserved break 🙂

The plotting and character designs are the break. Nothing urgent, so I can go back to the stress free goofy stuff now.

Well, still more relaxing than editing no?

A bit. Election day is tomorrow, so the phone has been ringing off the hook with local politicians. Hard to get a good mellow on in that mess.

Congratulations, Charles. One more thing of the list, for the time being at least.

Yup. Definitely clearing some stuff off the table, so I can attack book 6 with a semi-sound mind. Should take 6-9 weeks to write it if I’m lucky.

Good luck with that, Charles. Always best to write with at least a semi-sound mind 😉

Well, I’m long past the ability to have a fully sound mind. Insanity helps more than people think.

I think you are right, although it is probably to be insane at the right times and with the right things.

I always start with 2-3 villain scenes as a prologue, so that’ll be it.
