You are forging your own path
Too many cliches to burn and avoid
Time for a new category
Chime the bells to scare the masses
For a new genre has emerged
Torn from the essence of your being
Beast that cannot be contained
Least of all by those the scoff
Enjoy this new realm of literary quirk
Employ preconceived notions at your peril

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

  1. It would be nice to see the system encourage new genres, say, with a special category dedicated toward new ideas (could be a popular category, too).
