Chime the bells to scare the masses
For a new genre has emerged
Torn from the essence of your being
Beast that cannot be contained
Least of all by those the scoff

It would be nice to see the system encourage new genres, say, with a special category dedicated toward new ideas (could be a popular category, too).

eBay had some category called Bizarre, or something like that, which was extremely popular (not a book category, of course, but it shows that people do look for new stuff). If only Amazon would try to similarly benefit from this, it would please many readers and writers.

I would be happy if they give indie authors all of the categories. I think that would help a lot of authors place their books.
