Thanks. Heading out in 30 minutes. Had some issues to handle on-line. Apparently, my book has now appeared as a free illegal download on this site called zippyshare. Had to send a request for them to get rid of it.

Is it possible to get this from Amazon in England?

Yes it is. When it goes FREE, it goes free in all Amazon countries.

Got it. Will try to read in the future.

Oh . . . I’m not really needed here today, am I? You guys got each other covered? 😛

It should be on the UK site. I know I get UK sales.

Yes. Got it. Looking forward to reading although not really my genre. If it’s like the Brontes or Jane Austen then I’m sure it’ll be ok. 🙂

Believe it or not, a lot of non-fantasy readers have enjoyed it because it reads differently than the normal. Though, I say that and risk the opposite happening. Enjoy the adventure!

Downloading for my husband…. and myself. 🙂 Any romance in there, Charles?
LikeLike
There’s a kinda, sorta, awkward romance that the main hero doesn’t realize he’s in until it’s too late. 😉

Oh….. Nice!

I don’t really know how to write mushy romance. Though, I think I get a few scenes right in the later books.

Maybe I should practice it though. Doesn’t hurt to learn a new style.

True. It doesn’t. You have an interesting POV. Third person present tense omniscient?
LikeLike
Yup. I’m not always aware of the omniscient part. I’ve been writing this way since high school. Thinking about it, one of my goals in writing is to have the reader feel like they’re watching the action happen. I also want the reader to connect and get to know all of the characters, which isn’t easy to do in first person. You can get to know the main character, but the others are always at a distance.
LikeLike
I have that problem with my third person deep. I like it because I feel like I’m in the character’s head, and yet I can use a scene break, then be in another character’s head. Yet, you really only get to know the two main characters. I will at times have a scene through a secondary character’s head, but too much of that can confuse the reader. (Wow, I hope that made sense)
LikeLike
I followed it. I tend to have various subplots for all of my characters, which is why I don’t focus on only one or two. Even a few secondary characters get a time to shine with their own story if it works with everything.
LikeLike
Awesome. I’m VERY character driven myself. The plot is there to change the character, to force them to make choices and to grow into, hopefully, better people. It’s fun talking writing with you!

Can’t quite work out how to reply to your reply, so I’ll apologise in advance if this jumps out of order, but wanted to let you know I’ve only gotten through a dozen pages so far, but loving the impressive cast of races and interesting characters you’ve already incorporated. Your writing is just so vivid, its like a little movie is running as I’m reading. Now to wrestle the iPad back, so that I can read some more!

Thanks for the compliments. I have to admit that I’m still at the point where I catch my breath when I read that someone has started reading my book.
I had the same problem when my mom, my wife, and I shared a Kindle. Needless to say, I rarely won that wrestling match.

I seriously, SERIOUSLY need to start checking my email more often. And replying to people who like/follow my blog when I find those emails. ^^;
Still, I’d like to thank you for checking out my blog and the info on my (thus far only) published story, even as outdated as the thanks is.
And Beginning of a Hero sounds interesting. I’ll certainly check it out, even though the free weekend is long since over.

No problem. I have days where I miss emails too. The book is still at 99 cents if that helps.
