This is the rough paint sketch of Prodigy of Rainbow Tower. The final product should be done by the end of May, which means I’m looking at a late May/early June release for the sequel.

Me too. May is going to be so hard for me to get through. I agree with Jason (my cover artist) that a three month gap is a smarter choice. Two month gap might set a problematic standard. He’s been in the art business longer than me, so he knows best.

I have to ask. Have you gotten to Hero’s Gate in the book yet? Trying to ask this without mentioning the event I’m thinking of.

Sadly, no. I am still at page 72. My reading time has been cut short. I basically have the morning 8:30-1:00 to do any writing/computer work, then I feed the lambs, and after that, I go over to our other property and check on the cows, water my orchard, etc. and don’t get home until 5:00-ish. By the time I feed the lambs, gather the cats, put the goats to bed, and eat dinner, I’m too tired to do anything else. But until my Dad is done building fence at another property, my afternoons are set to ‘rancher’s time’. But I hope to have some spare time this evening, and I’m going to try and get some reading done. I wanted to be writing my review as I go along, but when I was reading, I got so caught up in the story that I forgot all about the review. But I promise that when you get home on Monday, I’ll have good news for you! 🙂

Thanks. Life comes before escaping into Windemere. The characters aren’t going anywhere. Though, a few of them try to wander off at times. I’m now curious what you were going to ask Nimby since you’re on page 72. They’re still in Gaia at that point, aren’t they?

I’m curious if Nimby really has ‘retired’ or if he’s a spy or something. Yes, they’re still in Gaia, just getting ready to board the ship, I think.

Nimby: A thief never really retires. They just hide in the open until people forget what they really are. I’ve got too many warrants and enemies to stay out of action for too long.
