1,000 on the Button

Just checked my sales:

1,000 ebook sales.

I still have 5 days before my book has been out for a month, but it really feels like it’s been out for a long time.  Been spending so much time checking rankings and stats that it’s a relief to hit this milestone.

Now to reach 1,500 before the end of March.  🙂

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

That’s brilliant! Delighted you’re doing so well with it! While my birthday is a long way away, I intend to get a kindle reader for it and I know what’ll be my first buys for it! 😀

Thanks. I’m planning on a getting Kindle reader for my birthday next month. At least that’s what my entire family has decided to go in on getting me. Already have a wishlist of books that I plan on downloading.

Jealous that yours is so close! I have to wait until October for mine… I think I might have to wait until then until I can read it, I just can’t take in writing properly when reading it off my laptop 😦

Took me a while to get used to that. Though, if you can’t read it until October then the next 3-4 books might be out by then too. 😉

I’m not 100% certain, but I’m guessing it has to do with the advertising sites that I used. I got a really good push after I set up on all the sites. I have them listed and explained on a tab under my Links page. Also, I believe getting onto a few top 100 Amazon genre lists helped create a sales loop or whatever you want to call it. People look at the lists to decide on what to read. That’s really the only things I did besides blogging and making daily twitter sales pitches.

Actually, I’m also priced at .99 cents, which is probably another big factor.
