Signing an Ebook

I was just introduced to a way to sign your ebook called Authorgraph.  It seems to only be for Kindle because it asks for your books’ Amazon ASIN, but it does say in the FAQ that you don’t need a Kindle version of your book to sign up.  I haven’t figured out how though.  Maybe you put in whatever the non-Kindle site’s equivalent of an ASIN is?  Still, it takes only a few seconds to sign-up.

Reading it over, the procedure is that you sign up your book, let readers know about it like I’m doing now, and then you wait for a request to come in.  You use the mouse or finger pad to sign the ebook or you can use a font to type it in if you can’t get a good signature with the other tools.  *raises hand*

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

That’s cool. You provide a bunch of good information on your blog about self-publishing, indie author interview sites, etc. Thanks for that.

You’re welcome. Figuring I should make it easy for people and cut out the hunting that I’ve been doing. Now if only I could find a site that puts up free billboards in every major city of the country. 🙂

  2. I set up an authorgraph for Imminent Danger, and got my mother to request one as a test run. Oh man, but I suck at signing my autograph. I have a desktop, so I was trying to write my signature with a mouse. Eek. It did NOT go well. I should see if I manage better with a laptop, though. Excellent suggestions! I wish you many authorgraph requests 🙂

Thanks. I couldn’t do it with a mouse. Saying it was a mess is an understatement. I used the option where you just type it in and it comes out as a signature. I hope you get a bunch too.
