I miss the younger days
Of boomerangs and hookshots
Slaying evil with the family whip
My days were filled
With leveling and dungeons
Soothing soundtracks in the air
My enemies were strong
Energy draining aliens
And robot masters
Driving me to sweat
Until The End was clear
Maybe some day
I’ll get to play again
About Charles Yallowitz
Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

Mine broke years ago and I think the games were sold. For the best since my fingers can’t handle that 4-button mess on the right any more. At least for some of my favorite games.

I can’t keep up. I gave up. I just read and write. New games have study guides. Too much work for some fun.

I stopped at the PS2 and Gamecube era because I thought it smarter to buy diapers for my newborn son than new video games. It’s been so long that I’m not really interested in the new games. I miss my old ones every now and then though.
