I just looked into this thing and I have no idea what to make of some of them. A few look like legitimate comments, but I’m always cautious of anything that falls into a spam folder and I don’t recognize the name.
Does anybody have any experience or advice about this folder? It’s growing pretty big.

About Charles Yallowitz
Charles Yallowitz was born and raised on Long Island, NY, but he has spent most of his life wandering his own imagination in a blissful haze. Occasionally, he would return from this world for the necessities such as food, showers, and Saturday morning cartoons. One day he returned from his imagination and decided he would share his stories with the world. After his wife decided that she was tired of hearing the same stories repeatedly, she convinced him that it would make more sense to follow his dream of being a fantasy author. So, locked within the house under orders to shut up and get to work, Charles brings you Legends of Windemere. He looks forward to sharing all of his stories with you and his wife is happy he finally has someone else to play with.
Delete all obvious spam.. if in doubt about the value of the comment.. some are very plausible… check the name of the site they came from. If it is brand names or something that looks like it is selling you SEO or similar, delete that too. Almost all spam in the folder will be just that… but a few genuine ones do end up there. Once you are rid of the majority try clicking the name link any that really do seem genuine. You’ll be able to tell if it is a blogger or a spammer straight away. But I’m just speaking from trial and error here
Thanks. I was thrown off by a few of them mentioning specific posts in their message. I’m used to spam being more general and easier to spot.
You’re welcome. Yes, its a good ploy.
I’ve had the same trouble too. Looks like the spambots get better and better.
Yeah. They’re like the precursors to Terminator or the Matrix at this point.
