Whatever I scheduled for today disappeared on me with no trace of what it was supposed to be. I was going to research an animal to make up for it, but it’s really cold. Even in the house, my fingers feel tingly. Probably a side-effect of my body temp not being able to get over 97, but usually staying in the 96’s. Joy. So, enjoy the memes and hope everyone is warmer than I am.

We’re cold even here in NC. I think my blood has thinned – I used to be quite tolerant of temps in the teens or below. Now I can’t handle 30s and 40s. Must have been the lake effect of living in Evanston, IL!

I used to have tolerance. Then I lived in Florida for 4.5 years and it dropped. Something hit me this year to maybe it worse by messing up my body temp regulation.

Thanks. I can only imagine. Quite a few years ago a company I worked for had an engineer from Florida visiting during one of our -45 spells. After being outside for a short while, he commented that it would have to warm up 100 degrees F to be a cold day in Florida.

I remember my time down there had people freaking over 60 degree weather. Before I moved back, they had low enough temps for frost. Learned that ice scrapers in cars wasn’t a thing in Florida.
