About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

The New Years at different ages meme is so accurate even though I’m not a drinker. I haven’t stayed up until midnight since 2020. Oh how this current decade would start out with a dumpster fire of a year!

With the state of the world at the moment, I think the last one is more pertinent.
    However, as tradition demands,
    Happy New Year.

    • Last one has probably been the more realistic one since time began. We just don’t always notice it. Happy New Year.

True. I often wonder if the world is really getting worse, or it’s just that communication has got do much better and quicker that we learn about these things when maybe when didn’t in the past.

      • Maybe both. Human society may have always sucked on some level due to our built in desire for hierarchies and having some downtrodden groups. Modern communication systems allow people to go global with their ideas, including negative ones. Basically creates cultural diffusion on crack cocaine.
