With it being the Super Bowl, I have a party going on and people visiting, so a complicated post isn’t going to get the response from me that it deserves. Instead, I’m going to be showing the next set of puzzles that I just finished. Sadly, I had to pack up the table, glue, and 18-19 other puzzles in preparation for the floor getting worked on. That means I won’t be working on another until late February or early March. Pray for my sanity since this was my anti-anxiety activity.
Now, this is the entire 8-in-1 box set of Ocean Life Puzzles. I got it from a supermarket clearance bin since the box was battered and they were clearing shelf space. You get what you pay for. They look great and the circular ones were a fun challenge, but the pieces had a lot of gaps that made it hard to glue together. The last puzzle (1,000 piece) was a nightmare in this respect. 3 times, sections in the middle exploded out as I was gluing the thing together. This meant I had to stop and scramble to put them back before things dried and it was harder to do. Kind of a chore in this respect, so I’m glad to have it done and in the finished pile.
Enjoy!
I have rare occasions when puzzle mania strikes. I did a 2000 piece puzzle last fall and that cured me for at least the next decade. Also, I couldn’t get rid of it fast enough. Where do you keep all the finished products if you do that many?

I have a pile of glued puzzles in the basement. Can’t find a container big enough for them. I can’t do anything bigger than 1,000 piece because of the size of the table.

Yeah. I figured out the size was a problem AFTER I started the outline. Fortunately I have a kitchen table with leaves. I just slid the incomplete border pieces off of the card table which was about six inches too short. I think you would have liked the puzzle as it had an oceanic theme much like yours. If you had the patience to finish it and not chuck it out a window!

Cool. I’m actually a bigger fan of pop culture puzzles. Lots of video game, superhero, movie, and tv ones. There are some dragon puzzles I hope to get my hands on one day.

They’re beautiful puzzles. Puzzles are fun, but it’s hard around here with so many pets that eat/jostle/run. . ..

Thanks. I have a setup in my room. Takes a lot of space, but I can work in private. I use the hobby to help with anxiety.
