        It’s going. The new book is selling decently considering it’s the first Windemere release of the year. Beyond that, I’m working on projects whenever I can. My son is finishing up school tomorrow and doesn’t start summer session until the 6th, so I’m more father than author right now. Chalking 2016 up to one of distractions and survival.

        I used to be of a mind that I could take a good book to the beach or park with me, but with kids that just doesn’t happen if I want to continue being the hovering, protective mom I pride myself on being. hahaha

        I agree. I’m lucky if I can read when at home because my son takes that as the sign to wrestle my feet. Though, he lets me get away with reading manga or comics. For some reason, novels draw out his mischievous side.
