The title really says it all. Hoping to get the book out around June 1st. It’s on a Wednesday, which might be a tough debut day. Feel free to volunteer for the ‘Book is Live’ post. Also give an opinion on the best day of the week to put out a new book because I’m scratching my head while leaning toward a Friday.
Anyway, here’s the teaser, which is more of a progress report:
About Charles Yallowitz
Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.
Cover art looks gorgeous, as always 🙂

Thanks. Jason’s last one, so pretty cool that Nyx is in it. Prodigy’s cover is my favorite out of the group.

Looking forward to the final product. Honestly, I’m not sure if this is the whole picture or a part of it.

That looks awesome. I have no idea when to release a book. I choose when it’s finished and ready. I’ll help any way you like to spread the news.

Thanks. I’m in the same boat. I always think the weekend is when people read more, but then I get proven wrong. So I try for a Monday release and nothing happens until the weekend. Maybe you have the smarter approach.

My non approach. I know summer hasn’t been kind to me, but that’s about it.

Summer is a bad time. Things seem to go into stasis from July until late August. Probably a good time to edit or write something new.

I’d like to finish mine by then, but it won’t happen. I might cluster some short stories to have out in the Fall.

Fall might be a good time. Whatever is going on with sales this year might pass by then.

My schedule is just up in the air at this point. Think I’m just following whatever project works best with my mood and time.

Terrific cover. I volunteer. I have no idea a good day to launch a book. I usually try discounts beginning on Thursday and ending Monday with the idea people have time over the weekend to decide to buy.

Good idea. Though I have the first book discounted already. I ran into a problem trying to start the later books with a lower price. When I raised them, I’d get complaints about the change or requests for free copies since people missed the sale.

You may think of offering a preorder at a discount. This would be a way around your whiney readers.

That requires a certain amount of time between the set up and the release. Sadly, I don’t really have the time for this one.

I would always lean towards Friday, because that’s when most people blog, read and discover things? Or, if I want to use statistics, most things happen to me on Monday, I think because people are trying to combat impending work week with leisures.

Thanks. If things work out, I might try it with a Memorial Day Weekend release. Need to talk to someone about how busy that day is with sales. It’s the last Monday in May, so I’ll probably be hitting that time up anyway. After looking over numbers last night, Saturdays seem to be oddly dead in terms of sales this year.
