So, I’ve realized that December is the last month that I’m going to post every day. This isn’t counting reblogs. The thing is that I’m not sure what to do for this final run. I plan on doing a week of poems inspired by randomly chosen music videos, which is more of a filler thing. I might have a Hype Week to do as well, but that’s not set in stone since it’s too early in editing and cover art to make a deadline.
In the past, I’ve asked if anyone has a topic or question that they want me to answer. Something that could constitute a post instead of a ‘yes/no’ thing. This has been met with varying degrees of success. Still, it doesn’t hurt to try again.

Legends of Windemere 
Hi Charles,
I have three questions, if that’s alright: you first self-published in March 2013, if memory serves.
My first question is, have you noticed any changes in the publishing industry and in the way people treat Indie authors in that short time?
My second question is, what directions do you think things will take in the near future?
And my third question is, where have you found it’s best to advertise your books?

I am wondering about the infrastructure of Windemere. Since I’m only on the third book this may seem like a naive question but does the country have a ruler and a council, police, an army, and a capital? I know several leaders are mentioned but it might be nice to get a perspective on the legislative, judicial and executive branches of government and how the constitution is set up. Sorry, if this is too dumb a question.

That sounds like I’d have to do a week of posts on the main territories of Windemere. The truth is that I never delved too deep into the local governments. Going by Ralian alone, each big city has it’s own local government and there’s Duke Solomon who acts like a central figure. One could say he’s President with his council and every other city is like a state. Bor’daruk, barbarian territory, Yagervan Plains, and other continents work differently.
Still, I should make a post on Gaia, Rodillen, Hero’s Gate, Gods’ Voice, Freedom, and Darkmill. Bor’daruk will have to wait as build up to Book 7.

I’m always surprised how people want that information even though it tends to cause a nasty debate.

It’s like the reporter at every news conference who has to ask the forbidden question that will close the conference. I always figure that guy was hoping for an excuse to get off work early.

Personally, I like your fantasy and Windermere related posts, enjoy your poetry; but really love your more personal posts and thoughts on writing (fans love to hear about the pen wielding artist).
