Message from Jason Pedersen

So, Jason Pedersen who does my cover art asked me to pass along a message.

“Thank you everyone for your patience in waiting for this cover.  I know that book five of the Windemere series has been highly anticipated by all of you, especially since it was spoiled that the Lich would finally get his time in the spotlight.  The delay came when I suffered a rather debilitating wrist injury that set me behind my schedule for several weeks resulting in a few missed and narrowly missed deadlines (including one for San Diego Comic Con). I hope, now that the cover is revealed, it was worth the wait.  I know I enjoyed the heck out of painting it. Thank you again for your patience and in your assistance in spreading the word about Charles book.”

As you can see he is very busy and I’m lucky that he’s willing to help me.  Legends of Windemere wouldn’t be where it is today without his cover art and I already can’t wait to see the next one.  I did get a lot of messages bugging me about when the cover reveal and/or the debut would happen.  This caused me to pester Jason a bit in the hopes of getting teasers.  I’m sorry that I did this because I really should trust that even a small delay is worth it.  I mean, look at the quality of those covers.  In fact, go to his site and see what he’s capable of:

FYI- He sells prints.

Today is the cover reveal of The Compass Key, so please show Jason some love and let him know that it was worth the wait.  Cover artists seem to go without praise when it comes to books, so let’s change that up a bit.

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

I didn’t think any of the covers would be Prodigy of Rainbow Tower (and it still stands as my favourite!), but this game damn close.
