Madi Predda of Authors Promotion surprised me with a promotional flier. A big thank you to her and I’m presenting it below. Has all of my books on it and I’m going to try to get it put up in libraries and bookstores. You’ll find it on the other end of the link below.
You can share it over social media directly from the site. If you wish to lend a hand and print it out to put up at your local library or bookstore then feel free. I will be very grateful to anyone who chooses to help me like that.
Yes, Immortal Wars: The Summoning is on there. For those that don’t know, this is a book I wrote in high school and published in college.

That’s cool. 🙂

That is really lovely Charles. You must have been super chuffed. What a fantastic thing for someone to do for you. 🙂

It’s great. Really hoping to convince some of the local places to let me post them.

I am sure that they will, just use your charm! Ha ha.
I had a quick look at the site that they had used to design it. That’s one thing that I love about this community, there are always new things that are being shared that we can all benefit from. Sounds a bit pricy to sign up to long term, but it certainly produced a lovely product for you. 🙂

It didn’t work when I tried with fliers before. Not many places around here that allow for such things.
I didn’t wander the site yet, but I’m sure there’s some amazing things you can do.

I think that flyers can be effective, but they have to be in the right place.. ie. somewhere that people are going to linger long enough to read them and imprint the information into their brain. I did numerous leaflet drops for another business once and it achieved very little. It is like everything, you just have to keep putting it out there and hope for the best. Good luck!

That’s the trick. There used to be a big posting board by a supermarket, but that closed up. Everything else is in obscure places. The library and a nearby Starbucks are the best bets.

Starbucks would be cool if you could get into there!

This is fantastic. That was really nice to have someone do that for you. The independent bookstores that I am working with have encouraged a poster or something of that sort, but I haven’t made anything. Don’t know if I will…maybe.

All I have near me is a Barnes & Noble, which is a hard sell because I’m Kindle exclusive. Caused some friction when I tried months ago. The library is a better shot.

It’s the small independents that I am working with, and little coffee shops like Austins and The Drunkin Monkey.
Good luck! Libraries have been most receptive to me, especially the reader groups that meet on Saturdays.

I should look into the local writing group again, but I’m so busy. That 6th book isn’t going to write itself. 🙂
