Don’t You Hate It

Kenshin Himura (How I feel)

Kenshin Himura

A night’s sleep
Leading to a groggy morning
A delicious meal
Turning on you as the sun sinks
A chronic cough
That is immune to every med
Don’t you hate it
When you’re destined for fatigue?

Rough night apparently.  We thought my cough was allergy-based, so I took some ‘knock you out’ Benadryl.  It helped me sleep, but I woke up feeling like I was run over by a truck.  So it some pretty cruddy sleep.  This happens more often than I’d like to admit.

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

  4. Seasonal Allergies are the worst. I am asthmatic and find that a spray or two of saline in each nostril helps. Sounds goofy but seems to work.

If you drink some hot water with a large spoon of honey mixed in before you go to bed it should ease the coughing

Don’t let the cough go on for too long before seeing the doctor. It could also be bacterial, or have you already looked into that. Sorry, I’m so behind on reading. Just hope you get better soon.

Sorry to hear you are still sick. I think your body is saying it needs more sleep than you allow it, no?
