As stated this is the first morning since Tuesday that I woke up without a fever. Still have the aches, congestion, and chills. Yet, I can think enough to function a bit on the laptop. I’ve been mostly on my iPhone when I had the coherency.
I know I’ve been silent on blogs. I’ve been trying to read and find ways to comment, but my mind has been nearly fried. It’s still iffy this morning. Took me two hours to read through my usuals and hit the ‘like’ button, which seems to have not worked most of the time. I wish I could say I got a lot of work done in my absence, but all I’ve been doing is napping . . . and watching Wreck-It-Ralph . . . three times. I slipped two Harry Potter movies in there too. At least I think it was Harry Potter. I remember British accents coming from the TV.
Anyway, the goals I have for this week are rather simple:
- Get better.
- Remind my son that I exist. I’ve seen him for maybe an hour over the last 3 days. This has been by him standing in the doorway and watching the TV with me before bathtime. He insists I’m not sick, but I look haggard.
- Do a little editing. I’ve avoided touching my notebooks and the Family of the Tri-Rune print out because I’m sick.
- Get back on a diet beyond water and wheat thins.

Don’t overdo it today. Don’t need a relapse. Hope you continue to improve. It hadn’t been the same without you.

Thanks. I’m using a bit of energy to get some much needed book promo stuff done. I have the Giants game at 1, which might be a good or bad thing.
Good to hear people missed me. It was driving me a little batty reading posts and not having the mental capacity to make a comment beyond ‘that was fun’ or ‘you made me laugh’.

You, and now the squirrel goddess. I hope it just jumped east coast to west coast and didn’t stop anywhere in the middle. I really can’t afford to get sick. I’ve used all my sick days for my dad.

Yeah. She’s been yelling at me for sharing this with her. Still haven’t figured out how we did that from so far away. This is more bizarre than us having the same time and day doctor appointment last month . . . 9:45. 🙂

We’ve missed you. Hope you get your strength back and some sense of coherence soon.

Thanks. Coherence is slipping in. My body feels like it was pummeled by an angry gorilla on steroids though. Part of it might be me spending so much time in bed and not moving around.

That’s why you’re so spicy? I should post about my friend throwing a hot sauce party a few years back.

I’ve only had them as chicken wing sauce. They play into that party pretty well. Some people thought me and another guy were nuts for trying to out eat each other. Lost feeling in my mouth, but victory was mine.

Computer std’s. They are everywhere. 😉 How are your Giants doing? My Steelers are going to be crushed tonight. I might watch WonderPets instead…

Well . . . they seem to remember which way to run down the field. At least on the few occasions they make progress. It isn’t pretty.

Yup. None of the games today seem terribly pretty. Keep feeling better!

I’m trying. Though, watching this game isn’t helping.

Charles I can sympathise I have had a nasty virus that has knocked me sideways too. I had the chance to watch all seven Harry potter movies with my daughter and have not had any urge to write or draw for days. Hope you are on the mend and back at your desk soon.

I’ve only been watching the Potter movies that I don’t catch on TV all the time. Reminds me that it’s been years since I’ve seen the first one.

Im a bit pottered out! After marathon but love that my daughter enjoys the same stuff as me. Watching them all over two days was a blast for her and a fond memory to treasure.

I’ll admit to pausing the movies and napping several times, so it would take me 5-6 hours to watch a full movie.
