I don’t know how much I’ll be able to post tomorrow. Probably nothing more than an advertising post in the morning. I have to pay some attention to see how the ereadernewstoday effect works on my novels. Yes, Ionia, I will be checking my stats more than I should. Maybe. Truthfully, I’m leaning toward finding a tree and editing in the shade while only texting with a few people.
Without further ado, here are a few videos to entertain people and raise spirits:
Weird Al Yankovic: Horoscope for Today (Love Hina animation)
Sir Mix-A-Lot: Baby Got Back
Queen: Going Slightly Mad (First time seeing the video and . . . wuh?)
Rednex: Cotton Eye Joe
Monty Python: Always Look On The Bright Side of Life
George Carlin on Euphemisms (Cursing, pure genius.)

What?!? Did I miss something? Ereadernewstoday? Really? Can’t wait to hear the results.

They contacted me on Saturday. I get tomorrow, so we’ll see what happens. Do I pay them right after it’s done or wait for a royalty check to come in?

They’ll send you an email with an invoice. I think it came about a week later. I “think” because my email got lost in all of the other junk email and I didn’t see it until a couple of weeks later.

I’ll keep an eye out for it. I only have the first book going, so I’m really curious to see if it will effect the second book too.

Wow, Ereader news should provide quite a boost.
They’ve got a staggering 450,000 likes on Facebook.

I hope so. The odd thing I’ve noticed is that I’m still selling at a decent rate, but I’m plummeting in the Kindle eBook rankings. Either a ton of books are selling a lot more than me (highly likely) or part of the algorithm factors in when a book is no longer a new release. The drop happened the day after my book was no longer eligible for those lists.

Me too. I’m not sure if it being a holiday over here will effect it in a good or bad way.

Couldn’t say, depends on where most of their readers are wouldn’t it. It’s not labor day any where else in the world that I know of.

I think USA took it from Canada from what I read.

Ah…didn’t know that the Canadians celebrated labor day in this period of the year. Nice to learn new stuff…so if the readers are from the States and Canada…can’t figure out if there will be more or less traffic…
