Thank-you Charles for having me here on the Legends of Windemere! I must confess, this is my first ever guest post, so I’ll do my best to leave the place as I left it!
After contributing a guest post to my own blog Dean’z Doodlez, I promised Charles in return that I would illustrate a character from his Legends of Windemere series of books (which are great by the way–I’m half way through the first book and its amazing!).
I decided to draw Luke Callindor. Luke is the main hero of the book and he is a very loveable character. I found it easy to follow Luke’s adventure from the very beginning and love the relationship he has with his loyal pet dog, Stiletto!
Anyway, before I go I must mention that Charles is very open to readers artistically portraying their versions of the characters from the books like I have. You might have noticed the version of Luke that I have drawn is an older version than in the book. Charles would just love it if you were to join in the fun like I have and draw some of his characters! Let me sweeten the deal for you shall I? If you are so kind to illustrate some of Charles’ characters, I shall kindly Spotlight your blog over on my own, and even Charles might be so kind to do the following too!
All the Best
Dean!

Hmm, I just might have to do that. I have a different image of Fizzle from what I’ve seen.

I’m curious what that image is.

Nicely done, Dean. I prefer older men myself 😉

Fingers crossed that Luke gets to that age. 🙂

I hear it’s smarter to draw for money.

I do, actually. But all I draw is tattoo art.

I like to paint and draw but my work NEVER comes out as initially planned. It takes all manner of unforeseen directions.

I gave up trying in middle school. I can trace and used to draw a picture while I was staring at it. No more. Put all my effort into writing.
