This old gnome
Full of life and knowledge
Builder of the future
With a brain that never sleeps
Distracted by a female form
No matter size and shape
Fritz is a lover of all things
Be it women or inventions
A lustful leer is on his face
Hiding a brilliant mind
Enjoy your time with this greasy gnome
For he travels on the road
To stand beside his friends
With the loyalty of a warrior true

Yeah. I’m nervous about that. I tested an experimental rhyme scheme since I thought I had nothing to lose. It’s an a-b-c-d-c-b-a scheme. Was calling it a convergence poem.

Sure. I’d appreciate it. I probably should have done a few test poems with the style before throwing my hat into this ring, but live and learn.

This is good. I like your introductions to your characters. The rhyming scheme to your Championship poem really rocked. The words resonated with the rhythm that was called for in that dramatic and forceful piece. Good Job! 🙂

Thanks. I think I can pull off enough character and city poems to make it to the debut day. Glad you liked the Championship poem too.
