Kryptonite by 3 Doors Down

I don’t think I’ll ever tire of this song.  I listen to it when I need to put my heroes through a rough patch.  Something about the song is sad, but also optimistic.  Makes me really imagine how even the most powerful of heroes can fail or suffer from self-doubt.

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

I try to stay away from this song, cause if I hear it, it won’t leave my head for days. I’ll be cooking and my husband comes to ask what and I just go and sing out “Kryptoniiite!” 😀 3 doors down have one of the most heart imprinting songs indeed.

I have a few songs of my own that get me into the mood to write certain scenes. It’s an amazing process, isn’t it?

  4. I found out this group by chance really, because one of their song was in a video! I’d say it’s perfect as troubled hero soundtrak!
