So, my reader simply died and is stuck on whatever was going on an hour ago. I’m not sure if this means something is wrong with my reader or my full blog. It doesn’t even tell me when new posts are waiting to appear any more. Is anybody else having issues with their reader?
For that matter, can anybody see me here?

For some reason, WordPress will throw hissy fits every now and then and my reader will be an hour or two behind. I’ll try to “like” a post and then it will pause, I’ll have to close/refresh the tab, and when I come back it has fixed itself. Maybe it just has an overload of users on right now, so it’s being slow?

Overload on the server makes sense. Hope it fixes itself. I’m thinking of cutting down my reader usage on weekends anyway.

Same here. After writing a Nimby fairy tale and the vampire excerpt, I’m a little drained. Too early for bed though.

my reader is royally messed up today… I thought maybe I might be following too many blogs or something…but seeing your post and reading these comments I realize it’s probably a wordpress thing

Mine got stuck earlier, saying that the last post was more than an hour before. With the number of people I follow I didn’t believe it. It seems to be back now though.

Mine is back for the most part. It’s strange that it no longer tells me when new posts have been made, so I have to hit refresh now to see new ones.

Close your eyes Homer I’m trying to sleep. I haven’t had my reader crash but I have been getting double messages all day and had a couple people tell me they weren’t getting emailed for new posts and comments. I told them to blame you.

WP has been giving me trouble lately, but I get by. There are times the LIKE button doesn’t work.

I ran into that. I clicked it in my reader for a photo post and it didn’t highlight. I may have liked and unliked it a few times before I figured out something was wrong.
