Liebster Award

I was nominated for the Liebster Award by Lauren Nicolette Colie.

The reason I’m doing this award is because it has fun questions.  Also, I’m nominating everyone for this award.  Yes, I’m too lazy to pick and choose out of my 300+ follower list.

The rules for this award are:

  • Each person must post 11 things about themselves.
  • Answer the questions that the tagger set for you, and create 11 questions for the people you tag to answer.
  • Choose 11 people and link them in your post.
  • Go to those pages and tell them.
  • No tag backs.

  1. What is the most important book you’ve ever read (not your favorite) and why?  Books of Lost Swords by Fred Saberhagen.  This was the book that sparked my desire to be an author.

  8. What is your favorite season and why?  Spring because it’s when my birthday turns up, it has pretty flowers, and I don’t have to rake leaves.
  9. If I say exercise, what would you say?  Bike
  10. If you could do absolutely anything for one other person, who would it be and what would you do?  I don’t have anyone specific in mind.  I would love to get a lot of my friends out of debt.

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

  1. just wanted to by and reconnect and thank you for liking gentle brush today. i’m certainly learning a little everyday as a novice should, i’m so glad i overcame my terror to join and posst.

i was also just nominated for the Liebster, i was shocked actually and unprepared. i plan on getting it posted this weekend, there is some work involved no doubt. on the websites i previously wrote for, i had no problem with the html coding, especially for linked text. […] i can’t seem to figure out how it works on WP templates though. any hints?

thank you again and keep the::::light:::::

    • You’re welcome. I don’t play with the html. I go with the text option for posting. There’s the chain symbol in the toolbar for hyperlinking, which is what I use for the linked text. Highlight, click chain, put in link, and it turns purple. Is that what you were asking about?

      • yes it was, exactly. the templates are so different from one platform to another. the last one i wrote fthe html coding needed to be typed in manually. i learned a lot, but this seems so much cleaner.

thanks for the like of Through this morning, i didn’t realize it had published, wrote it on my notepad lastnight and intending to sleep on it and reading it again this morning. i was a little shocked when i saw a comment. :-0
