The final version of the Beginning of a Hero bookmark because I think my wife is going to stab me and the computer if she has to do anything else on this.

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

You have been busy this morning. I have lots to catch up on! You are very lucky to have such a supportive lady in your life! Yay for the Wife! It looks perfect now and even on the computer screen you can see all the lettering!

    • It took some doing to get it looking right. She tried two quotes on the front, but the font was too small. Now, she only has to use her scrapbooking slicing machine to cut them. We only have one and it would be neater than scissors.

I am lucky to have her, which I probably should tell her more often.

Kudos to your wife! I like this one much better than the last one. The pictures centered…your name looks like Charles. Everything people were mentioning you incorporated into making this one perfect! Did you get the QR code (is that what it’s called? lol) on the back like you wanted? Looks great, Charles

    • Thanks. We didn’t get the QR code because we couldn’t do a decent line up of a back and front print. Gluing two parts together would look sloppy. I do have a friend in the area of the convention (and who runs the vendor room for the event) that is supposed to be making stickers that include the QR code. So, I should have something even though I haven’t heard from this person since they offered. I’m sure she’ll come through.

The sticker would work perfectly, Charles! I am sure she will come through too πŸ™‚ I’m excited about this even for you…make sure to keep us posted!!!

      • I will. Though, I might only be able to do a ‘I’m off’ post and then say ‘I’m back’ the following Monday. The hotel is thirty minutes from the event, so I’ll be behind the wheel for most of that Friday and Sunday.

I understand the driving part πŸ™‚ Maybe sometime later the following week so we can live vicariously!

      • I’ll probably end up doing it that Monday since I’ll be up at 6am to get the little guy ready for school and the little woman ready for her new job. No rest for the writer.

Wow, you are a busy man! How do you find time to write? πŸ™‚

      • Sleep-writing. πŸ˜‰ Honestly, once people vacate the house and I get my morning exercise out of the way, I have all day to write and blog. I’ll be starting book 5 on that day.

That’s cool! I hope to be able to do that one day πŸ™‚ But for now I work all day during the week (writing, blogging, and commenting in between) and spend most of my weekend writing. Happy writing on book 5…that’s great.

      • Thanks. I’m unemployed, so this is my job. God knows I put in the hours and then some on this gig. At least I get to go to bed with a smile. πŸ™‚

      • It’s fun, but not really stress free. I just fell off one of the two Amazon lists that I was hanging onto. So, you get rises and falls there. Knew it wouldn’t last forever.
