Today, I shipped my parents to Panama for a week and I get the house to myself.  This has also led to a rather ridiculous book-related action that has been met with mixed reactions.  I gave my mom 10 of my author business cards for the trip to either hand-out to interested people or post on a public board if there is one.  The reactions are as follows:

Wife-  Do it!

Mom-  Sure.  No harm in it.

Dad- Okay, but I don’t see the point.

Son- Warthog!

All this will cost me is 10 of the 250 free business cards . . . and apparently a warthog.
