Happy National Coffee Day to My Brew-Drinking Friends!

So, I’m not much of a coffee drinker.  I like the smell and don’t mind the taste if I add some sugar, cream, or ice cream to it.  Hot coffee has this habit of making me drowsy though, so I don’t go near it.  For all normal people, it’s a beloved drink that they need in the more to start their day.  So, this holiday is all for you!

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

I feel the same way about tea – can’t stand it unless it’s loaded with honey and other stuff. But I am a coffee drinker – two cups a day.

I drink coffee in the morning. One cup at breakfast and one mid morning. I usually drink tea mid afternoon.

But since I was diagnosed with hypertension, I drink decaf.

I never really found that the caffeine had much of an effect on me, though. I drink it for the taste.
