Questions 3: Hopes for the Future

Professor Farnsworth

I know we’re a month into 2024, but that means we’ve had time to get a feel for how things might go.  So, let’s get to the questions and try to be positive.

  1. What do you hope to do in the future?
  2. Where would you like to go in the future?
  3. What would you like to see in the future?

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

    1. Sell some novels.
    2. Italy.
    3. People reading for pleasure and more books written for the pure enjoyment of a story well told, rather than to report a wrongdoing or something else covered by the news. Just my opinion, since I was asked what I’d like to see.

Yup, barely a month in and I can’t say I have high hopes ( and partially think I’m to blame cause I did a huge effort to start the year optimistically for a change, cheating on my tried and true religion of pessimism).

    1. Get more physical with my creativity; do some real painting and sewing.
    2. I hope in the future I DON’T have to go anywhere; Montenegro in the summer.
    3. Can we just like, not have wars anymore? Please? And food and basic stuff costing an arm and a leg.

  3. In the future, I want to have the mental capacity to keep writing.
I would like to go back to Europe.
I would like to see the hatred that seems to be everywhere go away.

  4. I’d like to be able to comfortably retire in the next few years. Not pork and beans retired, but able to take the camper out for a few weeks, maybe visit the coast once each year. I like traveling, maybe visit my daughter. (Different coast) Maybe take the camper through Canada. As far as witness in the future, I’d like an end to all this hatred and opposing mentality. It may actually end, but not in a way I have in mind.
