  1. Lists such as these are very culture-specific (and not universal even within that culture), which is something the makers of the lists tend not to acknowledge (if they’re aware of it at all).

    On the other hand, this list doesn’t include avoidance of eye contact as body language that indicates lying, so maybe there’s been some progress anyway.
