This week has the last of the Teaser Tuesdays that I scheduled. I was going to start putting more up here, but I’m not sure where to go with them. For one thing, I have so many books to choose from that it’s hard to make a decision. I also don’t really get a lot of responses and no sales from these. Still, I need something for Tuesdays, but I just can’t think of anything.
Figure I’ll turn to people who visit here and may want to see something new. I’ll keep the Teasers going until I think of something else, but feel free to suggest anything that comes to mind. Wish I could revive my anxiety journal, but I’ve had too many people yell at me for considering that. Apparently, you don’t reveal such things when you’re working a job or needing to be a functional member of society. Just gotta push it down.
Maybe poems that touch on the anxiety thing? That probably can’t go for very long unless I have some good avenues for it. Any thoughts, people?
Another option could be to take the Legends of Windemere and other books then connect music to them like I did with War of Nytefall. Simple and to the point. Can get me about 19 weeks, but that might cause people to stop caring.
I love the music idea. Not sure about others, but I really enjoy seeing what music you enjoy. Also, I get to experience new stuff since I would never find your kind of music independently. The other feature is the store. You know where one can buy things like custom-built weapons, monsters, and other fantasy stuff. You might think that one is done, but just a thought.

Thanks. I’ll definitely put that on the top of the list. The store one is hard to pull off lately. I’ve done so many that they’ve covered a lot of ground.

I also love the music idea and also the poems about anxiety. And like John, I also enjoy the store posts.

I’ll work on the music stuff. The store ones are fun, but really hard to make. I have a set of 4 in January as a series, but that’s really all I could think of for that.

I like to post about my writing process. What plot holes am I facing? What might be happening with certain characters? Those might be interesting. I also like the Olde Shoppe.

I tend to do the personal stuff on Saturday and Sunday. With me not really writing anything at this moment, the plot holes and writing process might not be a thing. The ‘W.I.P.’ stuff has been an issue all year since I’ve been blowing through the Nytefall volumes with no issues.

It does seem like you’re pretty well prepared. I can’t claim that for my projects.

It really comes from a full decade of only having time to outline and plan. Never enough time or energy to write. So, I’ve got so many stories that I can take a month to put into outline form and then go right into the book. Think I’m stepping away to do the tip book first though. Non-fiction and self-reflection might be a good way to end 2020.

It might. Cheering for you whatever you decide.

Thanks. Right now, I’m leaning towards the music videos for Legends and Ichabod. That gives me a few months to build up either more teasers or a more long-lasting plan for Tuesdays. Wish I could figure out more of the Olde Shoppe stuff, but I think I ran out with the 4 I set up for January.

I love when you talk about your characters and creatures, like they’re real,

Thanks. I’m trying to find other avenues for that one. Finding ways to revisit the cast is a challenge. I’ll see what I can do about that though.

Meh. People have too many opinions.

True. Yet, sometimes one needs to ask for outside perspectives. Double-edged sword there.

I love the music idea, so would love to see more of that.
Ultimately though, it’s your blog, so post what you want, whether that be the music thing, the anxiety journal, poems, or something else entirely. No matter what you post there’s going to be someone with opinions on it – both good and bad – and you can’t please them all, so don’t bother trying.

I like the music teaser idea. You’ve been focusing hard on Clyde’s series, but there’s still value in bringing your first Windemere books forward from time to time.

Music might be the best choice. It won’t be easy though. The volumes of Legends always gave me trouble picking songs since it was a more closely related series of events than Nytefall. Already finding the first 2 and last 3 volumes are the only ones I can easily connect to songs.
