So, my son got 10 Lego sets for his birthday and we spent last week putting them together. I went into the details with this yesterday, so I’m just going to show him with all of the completed projects. Ending on the big one. Enjoy!

The Wall of Lego!

Ant-Man and the Wasp (Ghost was his favorite)

Yoda’s House (He really only wanted R2-D2)

Superhero Dance Party (It’s already been dropped once)

Harley Quinn’s Cannon Truck (I’m probably more amused by this than him.)

Egghead and the Condiment King (This set was my favorite)

Qui Gon and Obi Wan vs Darth Maul (He is determined to protect Qui Gon)

Brother Eye (Bought for Batwoman, but the light up block in Brother Eye was his favorite part.)

Star Wars Jakku Crew (Wanted BB-8)

Aquaman, Mera, and Black Manta (The Shark won)

DC Super Hero Girls School (Closed)

DC Super Hero Girls School (Open)

wow!

Looks like he’ll have a lot of fun with them over the next few weeks, he must be happy… which girl superheroes were in. That set? I could tell from the pictures.

He’s enjoying them. The DC Superhero girl set had Supergirl, Poison Ivy, and Lena Luthor.

Thanks, I was curious… sounds like a good set of heroines

He already had Wonder Woman and Bumblebee, so he has most of the core characters.

I’m hoping we have a deal that he plays while I edit. Supposed to be really hot and humid tomorrow, so we’re stuck inside.

We got a reprieve here, but the forecast is for rising temperatures.

Don’t see a reprieve for a while. I always forget how draining the heat can be.

Ten! I would be spent after putting together just one. Love your hanging art.

Thanks. My parents have had that for longer than I’ve been around. There’s another in the back room. Never figured out where they got them.

Good Lord, is this my future? They don’t warn you about these things when you’re expecting, do they? Oh well, I hope he enjoys playing with them 🙂

They mention Legos around the first birthday. Maybe you’ll get lucky and it’ll be a mountain of something else. Beats hearing the Spongebob theme on repeat all day.

Your son looks like you.
How cool that he received so many LEGO sets. My goodness! So much to put together! I have trouble with one set–let alone ten!

To be fair, most came from gift cards. It’s funny how he gets the ‘looks like Mom or dad’ so often. Rarely a mix.

1) That… is a lot of legos. 2) I liked Wasp better. 3) Yoda’s house, the creepiest B&B ever! 4) Is there a dog at the DJ station? 6) Condiment King is my favorite silly supervillain. 7) We all wanted to save Qui-Gon. 8) The Brother Eye figure is pretty cool, all right. 10) Sharks always win. 11) Darn right, it’s closed. This is summer. 12) Close that thing back up — it’s still summer!

1) Yup.
2) My son just likes how Ghost can pass through things. Cool powers win with little kids.
3) To be fair, he didn’t pick a good place for tourists.
4) Wonder Dog from the Super Friends.
6) Condiment King is great and I heard they made him decent in the comics. If anything, he’s a real menace to people with food allergies.
7) Eh, I figure Qui-Gon went on to a better place. It gave him time to save his family from kidnappers.
10) That reminds me that Sharknado is still a thing.
11 & 12) There’s a nice breeze, so the school being open isn’t a bad idea. Killer Frost has been hanging out inside to keep things cool anyway.
