So I’m home and unpacked, but also exhausted. The family event was my sister’s wedding, which was a rousing success. The kid was the Ring Bearer/Ring Security, so he got to wear a tuxedo too. He even got a badge and a t-shirt to proclaim his essential position. He had a blast, everyone enjoyed themselves, and I might still have a hangover. A combo of drink and food though because the cocktail hour was great.
I’m probably not going to be doing much outside of my own blog today. Sorry about that. I have an interview up at Don Massenzio’s blog, which I reblogged this morning. No idea why the Luke/Sari post keeps shrinking the Luke cover to tiny. Looked right in the preview and I think I just fixed it. Anyway, I’ll probably only be working on comments here and at the interview. My head is just out of it and I’m hoping to pass out early because tomorrow I start writing Protecting Bedlam. Going to be an odd thing because I keep wanting to make my villains better than their inspirations. Not nicer, but more cunning and dangerous. So the inspirations might get tossed aside and only noticeable because of a few jokes. Mostly, I’m looking at Johnathan Custer since I want him to be less cartoon-y and more realistic. This really isn’t going well and dragging on for too long.
Anyway, this last picture should explain the mental state of the house now:
The ONLY time in his life that he fell asleep in the car and had to be carried out.
