This will probably be quick. Just wanted to get a few opinions on this idea I had to kick off the April posts. First, I know it’s a ways away, but I’m going to have a busy March and early April. Not counting the possible release of Legends of Windemere: Ritual of the Lost Lamb. Family event coming and breaks for the kid all over the place, so I need to prep in advance. Tuesdays and Thursdays might become rather random too since I never have anything scheduled then.
Anyway, the next Windemere book focuses a lot on Luke’s relationships and how his current situation effects them. I wanted to make a post highlighting the big ones for each day during that first week. Of course, Nyx, Sari, and Kira Grasdon would have the big three for Monday/Wednesday/Friday. I’m just wondering if it’s right to give Fizzle his own and then put the other three champions into a single post. Should I even include them? Fizzle I get since he’s been with Luke since the beginning. The others are close to him, but not like the other four. So, is there a 5th core relationship that I’m missing from Luke? Was wondering if anybody had a suggestion or thought that would help me with this little mystery.
Also . . . Eh, that can wait until Tuesday.
I think that’s a good plan–giving Fizzle his own and putting the other three in a post.

Thanks. That’s what I have now, so it might be where it stays.

I think it’s largely up to you. I trot out supporting characters all the time, and yours seem to be more than that.

I wasn’t sure about supporting characters or former companions because they might not be involved in the next book. It is a big parade of returning allies and enemies though, so maybe I’ll add a few others to the minor relationship post.

If you have a theme going, I think it’s a good idea. Sometimes it takes followers a week or two to catch on, and by then it’s over.

I’ve seen a few posts get attention a week or two later. Not as often as they used to. These are mostly to help gear people up for the next book and I’ll be out of action that week too.

That something a series author can pull off better than I can. I can tease a few things, but that’s about it. I think it’s a good idea and hope it draws people back.

Fingers crossed as usual. I have a feeling there are people waiting for the series to be out entirely before they dig in.

I think you might be right.

Sad thing is that it doesn’t help me get to the end. I understand the mentality and have done it myself. Yet, I’ve learned that not getting sales on current releases means there is less of a chance that I’ll be able to put out the others. It can lead to me limping to the finish line if I make it at all.

Fizzle should have his own post, maybe even a series of posts about apples. Fizzle likes apples. Fizzle all powerful.
Sorry, couldn’t resist.

Actually, I did do an apple post with him a few months ago. Was a Top 7 or 10 list if I remember right.

That’s right, I had forgotten about that. Still you can’t have too many apples, just ask Fizzle.
