Q1) When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?
I suspect I didn’t start thinking about “being a writer” so much as I just always wanted to put things into writing. I got a lot of praise for being able to write well, and i found the process of creating language emotionally fulfilling–in ways that I suspect most people who write compulsively, as I do, understand.
