Smorgasbord - Variety is the spice of life

We are making great progress on the new house with some heavy duty cleaning over last weekend and then getting it liveable for the short term whilst the major work is completed. The sales are on so we have taken advantage and bought the kitchen appliances, although we will replace the cabinets etc at some stage; we at least are operational.

We found squatters on our arrival who were most put out in being thrown bodily into the jungle that is currently the garden.. Eight legs and hanging on to any surface with every one of them. Also at some point in the last 18 months bees had made a nest in the outlet for the tumble dryer.. The nest was empty and so the moss was removed and put elsewhere in the garden but some returnees for this year’s summer vacation by the sea made their way into the…
