A Post of ‘No’ and a Blurb Test

To sum up this week:

  • No goals were met.
  • No idea when I’ll release Tribe of the Snow Tiger.
  • No clue when I’ll get a good night’s sleep again.

So there’s really nothing to report.  How is everyone else’s week?

I do plan on releasing the second bundle for Legends of Windemere.  So let me know how the blurb looks and I’ll put the picture on the bottom too.  I’m going to release this on June 1st even if that’s the same day as the new book.  That’s because I made a promise.  Actually, maybe I can set up Pre-Orders for it.  Have to look into that.  To the blurb:

*This Book Bundle contains volumes 4-6 of the LEGENDS OF WINDEMERE fantasy series.*

The destiny of Nyx, Sari, and Luke Callindor has been revealed, but that does not make their lives any easier.  With old enemies still on the hunt, a new threat is stepping out of the shadows to indulge his sadistic desires.  From battling the magic-devouring Krypters in Hero’s Gate to facing a demonic curse that has befallen one of our heroes, the champions will be pushed to their limits and beyond.  Can the arrival of two more destined warriors improve their chances or will it bring them one step closer to failing like their predecessors?

Legends of Windemere Fantasy Series Bundle 2

About Charles Yallowitz

Charles E. Yallowitz was born, raised, and educated in New York. Then he spent a few years in Florida, realized his fear of alligators, and moved back to the Empire State. When he isn't working hard on his epic fantasy stories, Charles can be found cooking or going on whatever adventure his son has planned for the day. 'Legends of Windemere' is his first series, but it certainly won't be his last.

  4. I truly loved that song. Can I get the first set of Legends on Kindle? I finally have my reading list lower so I can begin. A New series. And, I’m being nosy…Why can’t you sleep? I hope you aren’t going through a period of insomnia! I think I am over my most recent one. Thank God! Will add you to my prayers.

    • The first set of ‘Legends of Windemere’ is available by clicking on the picture on the right. Has the woman with magical fire. For some reason, the covers for the middle book of each set looked better in this form than the others.

As for the sleeping, I’ve just been under a lot of stress. So I stay up late and then I get moving as soon as I gain even a little consciousness. Not sure if you would call it insomnia, but I just can’t get back to bed even if I only slept for 2 hours. Thanks for the prayers. 🙂

      • Thank you. Should be able to get the book(s) as soon as today’s gaming session is over. That sounds exactly like insomnia! Even the stress. It is a vicious circle once it gets started. No problem with the prayers. Anything else you need prayers for?

      • What type of gaming session? Been many years since I did anything like that. Prayers for sleep is more than generous. I’m hoping next week is even a little easier.

      • A friend is running a Palladium system fantasy adventure game. I am running a 5th edition D&D game. Right now, with everyone else’s work schedules we are having to alternate between the two games. We are on an Eastern Standard time and a friend Skypes in every Saturday from Arizona. You are more than welcome to join in if you would like.

      • Now I feel old. Last time I played D&D was 3rd Edition. I vaguely remember a few tries at Palladium in college. Mostly the ‘Heroes Unlimited’ stuff. My schedule is always a mess, so I can’t get into any games. If I’m not writing, I’m wrangling a 6-year-old. I figure I’ll get back into it one day when my son is old enough to join in. 🙂

    • BTW– Sorry for forgetting this. I was thinking of making the first bundle 99 cents for a week to help push the new one. Probably start it tomorrow along with the pre-order.

  5. Sounds like the bundling thing must be working or the second one wouldn’t happen. Happy for you. I have a huge list this weekend, but it isn’t going too well. I’m still going to Captain America tomorrow. I’ll get more finished, but some might have to wait.

Charles, I’m sorry you didn’t get much done. I also didn’t get hardly any writing in this past week…things remain in crisis-mode around here, and when I wasn’t running around like a chicken with my head cut off, I spent time editing. (My “day job.”) I know how frustrating it is to be unable to write, especially when you want to write and have ideas but are just too exhausted from other things going on.

That said, you *will* write again. And for the moment, you need to try to be good to yourself and take as many opportunities to de-stress as possible, in order to facilitate the writing down the line. (Yes, I know I need to take my own advice.)

And I look forward to the bundle! 😀

    • I don’t have any appointments or plans for this week. Still, I’m not trying to figure out which project to tackle. Might make this another edit/outline week since there is a big event next weekend. The last one for a while, so I can get into a groove afterwards.

I’ve managed to jot things down and Friday I got a full outline done. So we’ll see what happens.

That does count, you know. It is progress, and it’s about the same as what I did this week — I thought a lot, may have a way forward, but…:sigh:

  7. Been there, done that. Or, not done that. I had a tall stack of work to do, which my husband short circuited by taking me on a day trip. C’est la vie!
